Inclusion Workshop and On-site Training at Ford’s Theatre

A presenter, Sina Bahram, a Persian man, sitting at a table covered with a red cloth, speaking to a small audience. A laptop and water bottle are on the table. On the wall behind him, a large screen displays a presentation slide titled "Welcoming the Widest Possible Audience," with "Prime Access Consulting, Inc." visible below. Several attendees sit in chairs facing the speaker, some taking notes. The room has modern lighting, exposed ceiling fixtures, window blinds, and a wood-toned floor.

PAC developed and delivered inclusion workshops and on-site training for Ford’s Theatre, equipping staff across web, front-of-house, roadmapping, and visitor-experience roles to make accessibility a more confident, practical, and ongoing part of the institution’s culture.

Project Description

Ford’s Theatre engaged PAC to support a broader organizational commitment to accessibility and inclusive practice. The work focused not only on technical requirements, but also on helping staff build shared understanding, confidence, and momentum around accessibility as part of the institution’s everyday culture.

PAC developed and delivered trainings and workshops designed to reduce discomfort, create space for practical questions, and help staff better understand how accessibility applied to their roles. The engagement covered web accessibility, front-of-house practices, accessibility roadmapping, conversations with senior staff, and other areas connected to the visitor experience.

The project helped make accessibility a more active and ongoing part of internal conversations at Ford’s Theatre. By combining staff training, strategic discussion, and practical guidance, PAC helped the organization deepen its commitment to creating a more inclusive experience for every person who visits.
