Cleveland Museum of Art Announces ArtLens Reimagined
The Cleveland Museum of Art will soon open ArtLens Reimagined, the next evolution of its interactive digital gallery experience. Opening to the public on July 28, 2026, the redesigned space brings together art, technology, and interpretation through 21 interactive experiences across 10,000 square feet.
PAC worked with CMA, Design I/O, and Dome to help ensure accessibility was considered throughout the experience. The project includes visual, auditory, tactile, and movement-based interactions that give visitors multiple ways to explore and connect with the museum’s collection.
CMA’s accessibility work also includes visual descriptions for primary images in its permanent collection, making it one of the first art museums in the world to do so. These descriptions support more inclusive engagement with artworks across ArtLens Reimagined and related digital experiences.
ArtLens Reimagined reflects the value of building accessibility into cultural technology from the start. PAC is proud to have contributed to a project designed to make the museum experience more flexible, meaningful, and welcoming for all visitors.
