Executive Personal Assistant
PAC is seeking an energetic, detail-oriented self-starter with a basic understanding of various digital tools to join the team as an Executive Personal Assistant to the President. As an Executive Personal Assistant, we are looking for someone who can mange both household and company tasks independently and with a close attention to detail.
Duties include household management including various errands around town, travel arrangements, event planning, gift purchasing, shopping, organizing, coordinating household tasks, making various food/lodging reservations, sorting mail, research on a variety of topics, and more. Ability to anticipate needs, serve as a self-starter, and previous experience as a personal assistant is required.
Additionally, the Assistant will perform a variety of administrative tasks for the company including scheduling, managing documents, tracking news post updates, signing forms/documents, tracking expenses, and many other duties.
This is a hybrid position with some work conducted remotely and weekly in-person requirements in Cary, NC; therefore, applicants must live in the Triangle. The company is globally distributed and utilizes email, Slack, Dropbox, and Zoom for internal communication. In addition to the above, further communications with the executive will be carried out over FaceTime Audio, Whatsapp, and iMessages.
No travel is expected at this time.
You must have
- General comfort and basic familiarity with a variety of technologies such as zoom, Slack, email, calendaring, WordPress, Microsoft Office, and more
- Previous experience as a personal assistant managing household and personal tasks
- Excellent organizational skills and be incredibly detail-oriented with an ability to manage multiple tasks independently
- An enthusiasm and comfort with doing new tasks on the fly
- An eagerness to learn and take pride in the quality of your work
- The ability to receive highly-detailed and abundant constructive critical feedback, always with the singular goal of improving processes, clarifying the clarity of communications, and generally making things smoother/better
- Excellent note-taking skills
- Administrative assistant or related experience
- Reliable transportation
It would be great if you have
- Experience with handling invoices or financial/accounting records/workflows
- Experience in a fast-paced startup environment
- An interest in accessibility, digital design, programming, museums, or other topics pertinent to PAC’s portfolio
