PAC’s Transforming Grief Exhibition Honored by SEGD

PAC is proud to share that Transforming Grief: Loss and Togetherness in COVID-19 has been recognized as a 2025 SEGD finalist, honoring excellence in experiential and inclusive design.

This project challenged the PAC team to take on an ambitious scope—engaging deeply with communities while designing, producing, and delivering a trilingual exhibition on an accelerated timeline. Developed in partnership with Toronto History Museums, the experience centers stories of grief, resilience, and connection emerging from the COVID-19 pandemic.

The PAC team embedded inclusive design and accessibility across the full visitor journey—ensuring that every touchpoint, from interpretation to physical and sensory engagement, supports meaningful participation. The result remains one of the most comprehensively accessible exhibitions PAC has delivered to date.

This continued recognition underscores the impact of Transforming Grief and the power of inclusive, community-centered design to shape experiences that are both accessible and deeply human.
